Nike + HvA - Each One, Teach One

OBJECTIVE

Nike + University of Amsterdam

Each one, Teach One, explores design as a tool for social awareness. Developed in collaboration between Nike and the University of Amsterdam, and led by Patta co-founder Edson Sabajo, a group of students designed the Nike Air Max 90 as part of their minor program, combining product design with a narrative addressing unintentional bias and ignorance around diversity.


The concept encourages reflection on everyday behaviour and its impact, while also acting as a subtle call to action toward the university following past incidents. Rather than offering solutions, the project aims to spark conversation and promote a more informed, inclusive environment.

Use product design and storytelling to spark dialogue around discrimination and raise awareness.
